Comments: I stumbled out of bed, put my running clothes on, stuffed a bagle in my mouth, filled up my belt bottles, got my mp3 player and Garmin ready, kissed the hubby good-bye and headed out the door at 5:50am. It was very humid, 87% humidity in the air to be exact. By mile 1 I was drenched.
The course is 2.5 miles out, turn around and come back. It is downhill for the first 2.5 miles and the uphill back to the house. See the elevation chart below. I was a little dissapointed with the split time, but then it is simply harder to run uphill then on flats, but this is making my legs stronger.
I was suppose to run 6 miles, but I simply don’t have the time for it today. If possible I’ll hop on the stationary bike tonight and ride it for 1/2 hour or so.
This afternoon I am going to a massage therapist to get the kink in my neck worked out. I am also going to have her work on my legs…I am SOOOO looking forward to that.
