Comments: The stupid weather alarm went off last night at 1am: Severe Thunderstorm watch, then again at 4am: Severe Thunderstorm warning *sigh*…then at 4:30am the storm rolled through. So much for running at home, so much for getting some good sleep!

I felt really sluggish at work, but knew that the temps would be in the 90’s come lunch time so I went running as soon as I got there. Something just felt off, so I decided to let my body be my guide and run as far and fast as it could handle. Side stiches set in immediatley *yay!*. But after about a mile or so everything fell into place and I was able to run a little faster then Tuesday! (Again, no water, no GU)

I kept putting this mental image of a strong runner in my head and tried to imitate that feeling/posture. It worked most of the time, but I was pretty drained coming back to work. I am glad I didn’t just hop on the elliptical rider though.

Weightlifting tonight and only 4 miles tomorrow. I LOVE fall back weeks!

    Those storms are going to roll in during my run time, it seems. Congrats on getting your run in!

    A storm blowing in at that hour means nothing to most others except you and me when we’re trying to get our running in. Glad everything came together when you put that image of you running strong in your head. Keep up the good running!
