Comments: We worked on the addition (of the house) all day; my knees where complaining and my hamstrings were sick of being used. lol But I only had to run three, so out I went for an easy run.
I wore my Ascis, they have a bigger toe box. I did not get the inserts as I wanted to and around mile 2 it was starting to hurt under my foot in the ball area, under the bone that leads to my middle toe. If I don’t have inserts by the next time I run I’ll be wearing the Izumi on my left and the Asics on my right foot to ease the pain.
Negative split! I was excited about that. And I saw a deer jumping across the street in front of me. So it was a good run. If I only could be half as graceful running as the deer was at jumping! lol

Way to hang in there when your not feeling the greatest. It only takes one deer to make a run memorable. I love seeing them on my long runs.

Glad you did the run even though you didn’t want to. I find that those runs are usually the ones I end up feeling best about.

I love it when I get to see wild life. I hope your feet are better soon. I resemble that remark! 🙂

Way to go. I find it hard to get out and run if I don’t do it first thing in the morning.

I have the same shoes! (Asics) and, oddly enough, the same pain in the ball of my foot! Why does it only hurt on one foot? Drives me nuts!
