1 mile @ work ~ treadmill

Headed to the gym with the hubby today…walked 20 minutes on the treadmill and covered one mile. Nice and easy. Yesterday I got off the treadmill after 10 minutes; I could feel soreness in my legs. Not today though. It was temping to just hit the “+” button on the machine and go faster. But I didn’t. 🙂

I also got reacquainted with the bench-press. After all, if I do the Pump and Run I need to start lifting again. Not to worry though, I didn’t add any weights and did just one set of 20. After that I stretched a bit and our day in the gym was done.

    Sounds like you’re recovering nicely. Remember, take it very, very easy and GRADUALLY reintroduce running. You should look at this period as a reverse taper and a time to heal.

    I have the same sticker, and, yes, it is SEXY!

    *sigh* I don’t plan on doing anything other than walking until at least next Monday, I might start weightlifting a bit, but only upper body.

    I jogged a bit today but I only did 13.1 ( I just like saying that! ) but you are right to take it easy!! YOU ARE A MARATHONER!!!
