Comments: This was a much better run than last weeks 6 miler. I did watch what I ate before-hand and eliminated any heavy foods. The run overall was good, I did not feel exausted at mile 9 (I was worried about that), rather just tired. Saw the hubby and kids around mile 8 coming back from town, he honked and made them wave! That was a lift in itself.
The book I was listening too was very interesting and did a good job of keeping my mind of the running. I did delevop a blister on my right foot in the arch, which became noticable around mile 5. About the same time my left foot/middle toe started to hurt. But neither ever got to the point where I could not continue. Guess I am just getting tougher! haha
Overall the run was not as fast as I had hoped, but I was not totally spent at the end and felt like I could have continued, that’s just what I wanted.
