4 @ home (10:48) & Push Ups

Comments: Good run, negtative split. Met a new dog on the run. “Buddy”, who is really friendly, but doesn’t listen to his owner very well. I stopped my watch around mile 2.5 to greet him properly.

I did have side pains I had to work through starting at mile 1 through mile 3. 😦

Weather: 70’s, dusk nice

Clothes: MiT Shirt, Adidas shorts

Biking & Strength Training

Comments: I was going to work out at work, but was really hungry and felt like it would not be a good workout, so I decided to wait until I got home.

Distance: 6.3 miles

Time: 30 minutes

Course: Stationary Bike

~~~
Comments: I have not used the weights we have at home, more specifically the weight machine(s). We still need to dig out the big hand weights, etc out of the barn. I got to work out with the husband, so that was a big plus. We had a good time.
Proud
I mostly use this blog to keep track of my workouts/accomplishments. But today I would like to share something more personal (it’s all good!).
Between the husband and I we have 7 kids (3 his, 3 hers, 1 ours), age range 8 to 21. The youngest had her 8th birthday over the weekend and all the kids showed up (no they don’t all live with us), so I made sure I had the camera ready and here they are; our pride and joys:
Push Ups
Pushups:
Exhaustion: 21
How dissapointing. Next time I’ll make sure I was on the stationary bike for 10 minutes as a warm up.
8 @ home (11:13)
Comments: This was one of those runs that felt really good. I was indecisive about the mileage I was going to run, I had only run 3 miles all week. The numbers I was tossing around were 6, 8, and 10. I settled on 8
I made it out just before the sun came up. The full moon looked so pretty and made it possible to see the road. I did not notice the hills in the dark like I do when it is light. Hmm
I ran the first 4miles in 45:24, and the second 4 miles in 44:17; over a minute faster than the first half. 🙂
I drank at mile 2, 4, and 6, and GUed at mile 4. I am very happy with this run. My calf was sore at the end and loosened up after I stretched after I got home.
Time: 5:45am
Weather: 60’s
Clothes: MiT Shirt, NB shorts, Fuel Belt
Shoes: Saucony ProGrid (269.2 miles)
Distance: 8
Time: 1:29:41
Split: 11:13
Course: Past Cattail and back.
