Comments: The last week just didn’t work out the way I wanted to workout wise. It extended into the weekend. I did not run on Saturday, so many things to get done. Sunday morning I woke up with a headache and a left ovary that just wanted to make sure I knew it was still there and working *sigh*.
As I laid in bed, already dressed in running clothes, waiting for the Tylenol to kick in I contemplated not running at all. But, after talking to the hubby, we decided that I should only go out for 5, I had planned to go for 10. That way I did not need to bring a running belt or GU with me, but was able to get some mileage in.
The run was good. My headache subsided and my ovary quit making itself noticeable during the run. Nothing better than a good run as a pain suppressor.
At mile 2.5, the turn around point, my watch read 25 minutes on the dot. To my amazement it read 50 minutes at mile 5. My fastest 5 miler yet.
- First run in long running pants since last winter. 😦
