Thankful 8

29 Nov

Comments: After Thursday’s dissapointing race I decided to run 8 for my weekend longrun, just to see if I could still do it. It’s been quite a while since I have gone that distance. The side stiches that have been accompanying me in just about every run subsided after about mile 2.

I remember in the past, after about 4 to 5 miles my feet would start to hurt, and lately they don’t ache like that anymore.

My iPod Nano seemed to had enough of me and has dissapeared. I am glad that my old iPod shuffle (512MB memory!) is still around and was happy to take that on the run with me listening to David Baldacci’s “Devine Justice”. It wasn’t charged very well, so about a mile from home it died, but that was ok, it gave me the chance to listen to the world around me.

It wasn’t a fast run, but I enjoyed it and I am thankful I can go out there like that and run it.
