Comment: My legs and ankles have been swollen on and off since yesterday afternoon. I have not changed my diet so I am not sure where this is coming from. Exercise seems to help ease the swelling. If they swell back up after lunch then I’ll call my Dr for an appointment. If it is not one thing it is another… *sigh*

Elliptical rider 2.74

Comments: On the older machine, on which I just can’t seem to go as far as on the new machine!

Yeah pedometers! The bosses’ bosses’ boss bought everyone under his domain (full time employees) a Pedometer, after the company initiated a walking program. We received ours yesterday after lunch. Very cool! I managed 5,672 steps that day. I’d like to get to 10,000 steps a day, but with such a seditary job it’ll be hard to do (not counting workouts).  It’ll help that one of my coworkers and I have a little competition going. I have to keep reminding him though that shaking the pedometer is not considered walking! 😉

I saw another co-worker from a differnt section of the company with a really cool pedometer. Then I had pedometer envy for a minute, but it passed quickly!

3.18 Elliptical Rider @ Work

Comments: I was gonna go out and run 2 or 3, but after looking at my 1/2 marathon pictures online I felt really fat and decided to stay inside and use the elliptical rider instead. lol

After the workout the hubby and I spend the rest of our lunch buying new work shoes. Shoes for the soul…how about that! I am so greateful he loves me the way I am. 🙂

E. Rider ~ 2.4 miles & Rowing Machine

Comments: Didn’t think that the elliptical rider would be enough, so I hopped on  the rowing machine for a bit. I am excited because my 1/2 marathon training officially kicks off this Saturday. I am so ready to get back into a pre-determined running routine!

20 min elliptical & some weightlifting

Comments: I planned on going outside, but just didn’t feel like it. Instead I got on the ellitpical rider, which was kinda nice ’cause I had the hubby right next to doing the same thing. With him by my side the 20 minutes went really fast.

Comments: We are going out to eat for lunch tomorrow and Wednesday so I wanted to get my weightlifting out of the way. I wasn’t nearly as successful as I had hoped. Part of it had something to do with that I started the weights off too heavy (forgot my notebook), that I already spent a hard 20 min on the elliptical rider, that I didn’t have enough food in me, and that my chest felt jucky.

Bench Press – Pyramid

45 lbs x 12 (warm up) 

70 lbs x 12 (should have started at 65)

75 lbs x 10

80 lbs x 6 (that’s when my arms died and my determination broke 😦 )
