YMCA – “speed training”

Comments: I am not sure if you can call it speed training because when a turtle goes fast it is still slow. 😉 But I’ll never turn into that hare(ess) unless I try.  The track at the Y is 1/16th of a mile. I will continue this for another 2 weeks or so and then increase my ‘fast’ running laps to 4.

Workout:

2 laps walking…2 laps slow…1 lap fast…1 lap walking…2 laps fast…1 lap walking…3 laps fast

1 lap walking…2 laps fast…1 lap walking…1 lap fast…2 laps walking…4 laps slow…1 lap walking

Duration: 30 min

Miles: 1.5 miles

Shoes: Saucony
